INT180: Public Relations & Events Trainee (Flexible Schedule)

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY:
This traineeship is in an Organization which provides support to international students in Lisbon in several areas.

LOCATION: Lisbon (Portugal)

MINIMUM DURATION: 3 months

START DATE: As soon as possible

AREA: BUSINESS
International studies, Hospitality management, Tourism, Cultural management

REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferable background in Communication, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality or other related area.
- Social Media user experience
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Creativity, responsibility and organisational skills
- Flexibility in the working schedule
- Fluent in English
- During the traineeship the trainee must have a Portuguese phone number (provided by the company)

- Experience in this area is valued
- Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is valued.

TASKS:

  • Interaction with international students
  • Provide support in the organisation and execution of events, trips, activities and parties in Lisbon and ocassionally other locations in Portugal
  • Reception of students at parties and events venues
  • Manage the website and social media channels
  • Promotion of events, activities and trips in Lisbon
  • Provide support and important information about Lisbon
  • Logistics: prepare the different kind of promotions for parties and events, split and delegate tasks to the team members in the parties and events, split and delegate tasks to the team in the events; create and prepare material for themed events ; be part of the creation and schedule of the evenets of the semester.

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week

LEVEL OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY EXPECTED FROM THE TRAINEE:

  • English B2/C1
